David B. Bryant
Mr. Bryant formed EA in 2003 to capitalize on his extensive experience in the energy industry finance. EA is actively engaged in strategic, M&A and financial advisory assignments with industry participants. Prior to formation of EA, Mr. Bryant was responsible for coordinating the development, structuring, and syndication of complex corporate and non-recourse project financing for clients, the provision of financial advisory services, and the sale of related commercial and investment banking products and services as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of ABN AMRO’s Integrated Energy Power & Utilities Team.

Mr. Bryant has extensive experience in the origination, structuring and execution of complex transactions on behalf of energy sector participants. Mr. Bryant led deal teams responsible for multi-million project financings for InterGen, NRG Energy, Inc., Sempra Energy, PG&E National Energy Group and PacifiCorp to name a few. Mr. Bryant has been materially involved in various domestic and international corporate and capital markets financings. Mr. Bryant has spearheaded the execution of a number of acquisition and divestiture initiatives for clients over the years.

Prior to joining ABN AMRO in early 1994, Mr. Bryant was Vice President in Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC)’s Utilities Group. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Bryant was employed by First Interstate Bank of Iowa and was principally responsible for correspondent banking relationship management and large corporate business development activities within the state. Mr. Bryant’s banking career began with Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago.

Mr. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and an MBA from DePaul University of Chicago. Mr. Bryant is a graduate of the National Commercial Lending Graduate Program at the University Lending Program at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Bryant is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. Mr. Bryant holds a Series 7 and Series 63 license. Mr. Bryant has been active in several industry organizations including the Edison Electric Institute, the American Gas Association, the Electric Power Supply Association, and the Utilities and Telecommunications Securities Club of Chicago.

Kyle E. Nenninger
Prior to joining EA, Mr. Nenninger was a partner at a 700+ attorney law firm where his practice focused primarily on finance, energy and developer representation, with an emphasis on project finance.

Mr. Nenninger has represented both developers and lenders in domestic and international syndicated, secured, ECA, capital market, tax-exempt and other types of financial transactions. Representative transactions on which Mr. Nenninger has worked include a project financing of a desalination plant, a 230 MW gas-fired cogeneration facility project financed via the capital markets; an inside-the-fence cogeneration project, a project financing of a paper mill financed with both tax-exempt and taxable debt; an OPIC transaction on behalf of a borrower in Ecuador; a letter of credit facility guaranteed by the Export-Import Bank as part of a $1.3 billion transaction involving the purchase by a South American government of US technology; a $400 million multi-currency credit facility for a holding company designed to allow the holding company to invest in various projects around the world; and a private placement project financing of a municipal cooling and heating system.

Mr. Nenninger has also represented a bank group with exposure of $1,000,000,000 in connection with the insolvency of an energy company. Over the course of his career, Mr. Nenninger has represented lead lenders and developers in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit facilities in excess of $11 billion dollars.

Mr. Nenninger is a 1992 cum laude graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where he was an Editor on the Villanova Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. In 1997 he received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance and international business. Mr. Nenninger is admitted to the Bars of the State of Illinois, the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

John W. O'Connor
Mr. O’Connor has over 13 years of experience in the energy industry. Over the course of his career, he has played a lead role in a variety of capacities, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial and investment banking, as well as credit analysis and business development.

Prior to joining EA in February of 2004, Mr. O’Connor was Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at Invenergy LLC where he was responsible for coordinating Invenergy’s energy related M&A activities, including working with a large well regarded Private Equity co-investor, as well as outside buy/sell side advisors and legal counsel. He was also responsible for prospecting and origination, debt capital raising, structuring and credit analysis. Within six months of his arrival, Invenergy closed its first acquisition, a 370MW combined cycle/peaking facility in Florida with an enterprise value of approximately $260 million. Mr. O’Connor played a significant role in the acquisition and a lead role in raising $80 million of holding company mezzanine capital to pay down a bridge loan used to initially fund the $113 million acquisition.

Before joining Invenergy in early 2003, Mr. O’Connor was with WestLB AG since 2000 and was Director of Corporate Finance. At WestLB he managed a portfolio of leading energy concerns and was principal origination source for a variety of transactions in the energy industry including acquisition and construction finance, securitizations, investment grade and high yield corporate and structured financings, and mergers and acquisitions advisory.

Prior to joining WestLB, Mr. O’Connor was with Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Co.’s Global Power Group. At the end of his six-year tenure at Duff & Phelps, Mr. O’Connor was a Director responsible for analyzing and managing the relationships of the energy sectors top concerns and their respective regulated and unregulated subsidiaries. He also played an instrumental role in Duff & Phelps’ energy project finance efforts, including a lead role in the development and management of its power and natural gas project finance business unit. Mr O’Connor was member of Duff & Phelps’ Credit Rating Committee.

Mr. O’Connor holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Mr. O’Connor has been a frequent speaker at top industry events and conferences focused on utility and energy project finance developments. He has been actively involved in energy industry organizations and has served as Chairmen and President of the Utility & Telecommunications Securities Club.
